UKTheatreSchool Performing Arts Academy ensures dance plays a significant part of the training. Dance is as important and Singing and Acting at this academy and all students from beginner level to advanced level have dance within their curriculum to allow the student to develop in all three diciplines – working towarss becoming a triple threat.
Dance - Musical Theatre Program
Students involved in any of our Musical Theatre Courses also get extra dance classes as well as RAD Ballet classes and Jazz classes.
Dance – RAD Ballet
We have a full program of RAD Ballet. At UKTheatreSchool Performing Arts Academy we work with the Royal Academy of Dance Syllabus starting at Pre-Primary classes through to Intermediate level. We have a 100% pass rate for RAD examinations with all students achieving Merit or Distinction. Many of our students are also on the Junior or Mid Associate Programs within Scottish Ballet.
Dance – Jazz
All of our students are introduced to Jazz through our Main Stream courses and the Musical Theatre Masterclasses however; students can do extra classes in Jazz and we also have a boys only Jazz class for boys age 13 and above.
Dance - Tap
All of our students are introduced to Tap through Main Stream dance classes, Advanced Stream dance classes and the Musical Theatre Masterclasses and we also have ISTD graded classes as an optional class for students from Jnr Prep 2 onwards.
